Bula Choudhury was born on January 2, 1970, in Hugli (Hoogli), West Bengal. She is an Indian swimmer who is known for being the first woman in the world to swim across all seven seas. In 2005, she did this in just 14 hours, which was a huge surprise. Bula started swimming when she was five years old. She went to a school to learn how to swim. She crossed five continents, including the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Strait of Gibraltar, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Indian Ocean.
